Gandis G. Mažeika, MD
The founder of Sound Sleep Health, Dr. Mažeika obtained his medical degree at the UC Davis School of Medicine. He completed a joint residency in Psychiatry and Neurology through Harvard Medical School and Duke University Medical Center, followed by a Neurology and Sleep Disorders fellowship at Duke. He is Board Certified in Sleep Medicine.
A regional leader in the field of Sleep Medicine, Dr. Mažeika has over 15 years of experience treating sleep-disordered patients. Dedicated to public education about sleep matters, he has appeared on TV and radio spots and frequently speaks to community groups. He has developed proprietary sleep questionnaires and outcomes measurement tools, allowing his staff to deliver the best possible care for patients with sleep disorders.
On a national level, Dr. Mažeika is a Fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and an active member of the National Sleep Foundation, an organization dedicated to raising public awareness of sleep disorders
Reuben Walia, MD
Dr. Walia is a Board Certified Sleep Medicine Physician with a background in primary care. A native of Oklahoma City, Dr. Walia completed his training in Family Medicine and Sleep Disorders at the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine. Committed to high quality patient care, he is skilled in managing the entire spectrum of sleep disorders. Dr. Walia enjoys running, hiking, sports and rooting for his Oklahoma Sooners.
Alice J. Coad, MA, ARNP
Alice J. Coad received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Master of Arts in Nursing and Anthropology, and completed post graduate studies as an Adult and Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Washington. She has taught Nursing and been on the Clinical Faculty at the University of Washington. Prior to joining Sound Sleep Health, she worked in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Geriatric Medicine. She has an interest in chronic and long term illness. Alice brings a diverse clinical perspective to her care of Individuals at Sound Sleep Health.
Christopher Craig, MN, ARNP
Christopher Craig has been a nurse practitioner for nearly 30 years; graduating from the University of Washington. More than 20 years ago he began his practice in sleep medicine. He was one of the first nurse practitioners nationally to have a clinical practice in this subspecialty, mentored by local leaders in the field of Sleep Medicine.
Because of his background as a high school teacher, there is a strong educational component in his encounters with patients and families. He also enjoys teaching other health care providers about sleep disorders, their diagnosis and treatment, and the physical and mental health consequences of sleep disorders.
Christopher has a keen interest in research and has been a sub-investigator in numerous Phase II and III drug studies.
