Gandis Mažeika, MD, FAASM

Dr. Gandis Mažeika, a board-certified sleep medicine specialist and multi-year Top Doctor award winner, is the founder and director of Sound Sleep Health based in Kirkland and Seattle, Washington.

Dr. Mažeika earned his medical degree at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine. He completed a joint residency in psychiatry and neurology through Harvard Medical School and Duke University Medical Center, followed by a sleep medicine and behavioral neurology fellowship at Duke. He maintains board certification in sleep medicine, psychiatry and neurology. 

With over 20 years of experience treating patients with a variety of sleep disorders, Dr. Mažeika is a regional leader in the field of sleep medicine. His research focus has been the development and validation of screening questionnaires for sleep disorders.

A fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and an active member of the National Sleep Foundation, Dr. Mažeika has a passion for raising public awareness of sleep disorders. He has appeared on television and radio and frequently speaks to community groups.
